Five out of the seven days in the week – Sunday through Thursday, services like Valet Waste or Trash Butler collect garbage and recycling from your waste bin right outside your door. A waste bin is provided to you at move-in, so you won’t even have to think about it!

You may be wondering, how can I keep my trash bin clean and pristine? Well, I am not only a Camden team member, but I am also a Camden resident! I'm here to share some of my favorite doorstep trash pickup tips and tricks!

• Use removable hooks on the outside of the bin to hold the bag in place, so it is easy to take off and out.

• To keep the bin smelling fresh, place a few dryer sheets at the bottom! In case you need a heavy-duty refresher, you can use Febreze, Lysol and Clorox wipes or even scented trash bags.

  • You can also try using Arm and Hammer Odor Buster, or their nursery freshener for those with scent sensitivity. 

  • Some of the best scent-buster solutions I have found on Amazon are Arm and Hammer Oder Busterz, Munchkin Nursery Fresheners, Febreze Air, Febreze Small Spaces, and last but not least; Odor Genie!

• If you sometimes have drips or spills, the trash service asks that you double bag. If something drips into the trash bin provided, you can even give it a little bath in your shower! If you run out of bags, don’t fret; we have extra in the office if needed!
