INFJs​

By nature, the INFJ is highly intuitive and one of the most introverted of the MBTI types. As such, they are most comfortable in rooms with subdued color schemes and modest decorations. Deep blues or purples can fit well in the INFJ’s space, especially when combined with neutral tones like black, white, and brown. A few pictures and ornaments for walls and tables will be the best decorating solution for this Idealist.

However, they have to be careful of their particular natures, which crave order and perfectionism in the apartment setting. Having many pieces of visible décor needing constant adjustments will prove very distracting to these Idealists; their unconscious minds are already cluttered enough without adding physical clutter into the mix! Also, be sure to keep a consistent decorating theme, since INFJs tend to find patterns pleasing in the living space.

ENFJs​

ENFJs are famous for being among the most gracious hosts, always creating spaces perfect for guests. Due to the emphasis they place on providing a relaxing space, these Idealists find the best colors to be earth tones and rich, warm colors like burgundy and chestnut. Although ENFJs are easily the best at creating a comfortable apartment, they have to be careful not to overdo it! Prominent patterns with bright, explosive color schemes will capture that ENFP spirit with ease, especially when they come close to clashing. Pairing blue-with-yellow or purple-with-orange would be perfect to capture the contradictions that seem to make up the ENFP’s mind.

Although an ENFP tends to come off as self-assured, this Idealist is notorious for worrying about what others think of them. For this reason, the ENFP has to be careful to balance their fun-loving, whimsical side with paintings and décor that add a touch of elegance and seriousness. Investing in abstract, minimalist paintings and simple furniture will add a touch of much-needed refinement to the apartment space, keeping the ENFP confident they won’t be viewed as childish.
