Dilworth was established as a neighborhood of Charlotte during the 1890's. With so many mills and factories being established in the area, the many workers flooding to the area also came looking for a beautiful area to make their home. Most of the structures in Dilworth are historic homes that have been left as is, renovated or converted to shops and restaurants. This in itself creates a unique flare that some of the other neighborhoods cannot replicate.

Dilworth's closeness to Uptown Charlotte, South End and South Park is incredibly convenient.

Uptown Charlotte (home to five Camden luxury communities) is home to the Carolina Panthers, fine dining restaurants, street festivals and much more. South End is the city's brewery destination and South Park is home to the city's most upscale shopping area. Dilworth is so green and nature-filled

Freedom Park and Latta Park are just walking distance from every front door in Dilworth, including one of Camden's most tranquil, green communities, Camden Dilworth. Freedom Park is well known for it's beautiful duck filled pond and walking trails. Home to a huge playground with a historical locomotive parked in the center, this park will also have a Carolina Panthers work out set up for children and adults alike! Latta Park, though smaller, is well known for it's nature trails and splash pad. This is a great place to walk your dog and to cool down on those scorching hot Carolina days.
