Choosing the perfect apartment home for your lifestyle is important, but what if life changes during your lease term? Rather than moving, why not adjust your floor plan to work with your lifestyle? When I met with Camden resident, Stephanie, I was in complete awe of how she transformed her walk in closet to her beautiful baby girl’s nursery.

Lexie's Nursery

Walking into Stephanie’s apartment home is like walking into Pottery Barn with a twist. Imagine clean, neutral colors with pops of gold accents, and a bit of a Kate Spade vibe. If I had her home, I would never want to leave!

Lexie's crib

Lexie’s nursery was once a walk in closet. Stephanie was able to fit an Ikea crib that she painted in the space with room to spare. A canopy and mobile from Potter Barn kids adds femininity to the nursery without going overboard. Now she has the perfect place to rest her head that is fit for a princess.

Bamboo Gold Feature Wall

By adding an accent wall of bamboo gold wall paper, the room went from plain white to a unique room to remember. Stephanie also painted bold gold stripes on the side walls.

Shelves

The feature wall with shelves is my favorite. Each shelf has something different to look at including photos, original artwork, and Lexie’s shoes. The bottom shelf shows off some of Lexie’s cutest dresses on pink hangers.

Stephanie found a desk that transformed into a changing table. She painted it with the same color as the crib and painted the hardware gold to match the room. On the wall above the changing table is an original piece of artwork by Emyo.
