Camden strives to provide Living Excellence through events that support our residents, communities, and employees nationwide. We do this through, Camden Cares, a program founded for our employees to focus on giving back to local communities by volunteering and donating. Over the past year, our Austin communities have brought team members together by spending time helping our neighbors.

Austin Humane Society

It's no secret that Camden loves pets! So, when thinking of ways to help in our community, we focused on our four-legged friends. A group of Austin team members volunteered to help behind the scenes at the Austin Humane Society by cleaning adoption rooms, kennels, and prepping supplies for their onsite surgery center.

Central Texas Food Bank

Our Austin team members partnered with the Central Texas Food Bank to help supply 3,600 meals to those in need across 21 counties in Central Texas by sorting through 4,320 pounds of food and packing 360 boxes!

Earth Day Trail Clean Up

In April, nine Camden volunteers came together to do their part in helping our planet. We partnered with The Trail Conservancy to pick up trash off the Ann & Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail near Lady Bird Lake. We collected and cleared over 50 lbs of trash and debris along the trail - right in time for Earth Day!

Our Camden teams nationwide invest in every community by giving back to those in need. While these are just a few events held in 2023, we look forward to giving back to our neighbors in the upcoming months by planting, weeding, mulching, and raking the garden at the Zilker Botanical Garden. Our sister communities also love giving back to their neighbors as well.
