You never know what to expect when you first move into a new apartment. When I moved into Camden Dunwoody, I was truly in for an amazing surprise. Conveniently located in Atlanta’s perimeter, The Perimeter Mall and heart of the city is only miles away from Camden Dunwoody Apartments. Besides coming home to a renovated apartment that is identical to the pictures advertised on their website, I found various things to do over the weekend. I was able to explore the community’s garden-style landscape and discover why Camden Dunwoody is more than just an apartment complex. From my first weekend in my new home, I was able to settle in and create a fun-filled weekend routine.

Friday after work can either be a day of relaxation or time to enjoy Atlanta’s nightlife. My first Friday, I decided to take my furry friend to Camden Dunwoody’s brand new Dog Park, so we could play together after my long day at work. The dog park is perfectly shaded and has a nice amount of space for my pup to run around leash free! The amazing office staff also gave my pup a doggie bag filled with toys and treats!

I was also able to wash my car at the Car Care Center without having to take my eyes off my dog. This self-service car wash was easy to use and I gave my car a quick sparkle before cruising around in my new city that Friday night. Not to mention I didn’t have to scrape together loose change in order to get my car washed elsewhere.

My Saturday at Camden Dunwoody was eventful as well. I started off my day exploring the available fitness options in the community. The 24-hour fitness center is stocked with cardio equipment, free weights, and an additional yoga studio. The yoga studio was already equipped with mats and after some time I decided to cycle. I also signed up for the upcoming fitness classes offered in the studio. A morning workout always kicks off my Saturday, but now I have a great fitness facility only a few steps away from my apartment. After my workout, I decided to invite a few friends over to enjoy the resort-style swimming pool. My friends were so jealous when they found out that the pool is saltwater and open year round. We had a great time swimming and cooking on the grills. I also found that Camden Dunwoody’s pool is a great place to meet neighbors, especially on the weekends.

After such an amazing time at the pool Saturday, I decided to invite my friends over to watch the big games on Sunday. Good drinks, snacks, sports and the pool’s view from my apartment made this Sunday kickback perfect! My Sunday turned out to be an impeccable day before my work week restarted.

There are so many more great things about calling Camden Dunwoody home, but the amenities make living here more enjoyable. Just in my first weekend, I was able to find ways to occupy my time without leaving the community’s gates. The welcoming staff encouraged me to explore my new community and I can truly say that moving to a Camden community was the best decision I ever made!
