There is always fun to be had in the great city of Austin, TX. Now that the weather is warming up, it’s time to bust out your sandals and explore the city.
For my fellow Austinites and visitors, you’ll be able to find an activity (or two) that you will enjoy. Luckily, we have several Camden apartment communities nearby to really take in all the excitement!

Lake Travis Zipline Adventures
If you are feeling adventurous, I have just the place for you. Lake Travis is one of the most scenic places in Austin and it’s even more beautiful when you are gliding above the trees. I did ziplining and I had so much fun! The staff there is kind and fun-loving. This is definitely a great place to spend a spring day.
Friday Night Moonlight Cruise
If you are looking for evening entertainment, take the Lone Star Friday Night Moonlight Cruise. The hour-long cruise takes place on Lady Bird Lake and gives you an amazing view of the Austin skyline. Did I forget to mention that its BYOB?

The Picnic
It wouldn’t be right of me to not mention a place with great food. The Picnic is a food truck park with several delicious options. There’s a wide range of cuisines such as BBQ, Thai food, Venezuelan, and even some eats for your sweet tooth.
Now that you have a laundry list of activities to do in Austin this spring, take a look at some great Austin brunch spots featured in another Simply Camden blog.
