Seltzer water is for more than just mixing with alcohol to drink. Consider using seltzer water for household cleaning and tasks. Here are 5 examples of how to use seltzer water.

1.       Help your plants grow. Water your plants with seltzer water. The added minerals will help your plants to seem lively and grow luscious. For the best effect, try more than once a week.

2.       Remove stains from textiles. Try rubbing seltzer water on your favorite white blouse to remove your stains. This technique also works on carpet. 

3.       Clean glass windows. Instead of using blue liquid in a spray bottle, try the seltzer water. The bubbles help to remove sticky stains and other things from your car or apartment home windows. 

4.       Brighten your hair color. Have you been spending the summer at the pool? Rinsing your hair with seltzer water will make your hair color shine brighter.

5.       Remove rust. Try using seltzer water on rusty screws and nails to restore them to original condition.

Consider using seltzer water before going to the store to buy a new cleaning product. I recommend not using flavored seltzer water- save it to mix with your alcohol.
