My family loves being outside anytime of the year! During the summer it gets tough to be outdoors and stay cool with the heat, humidity and sun glaring down on us. Florida is HOT, HOT, HOT and temperatures can get into the high 90’s with 100% humidity by 10 AM. I am dripping with sweat just walking out to get the mail!

To help keep my family cool, I brought my arsenal of tools with me to Busch Gardens this weekend:

• Water Misting Fan – I fill up this water fan with ice and water and we are off. I bought this fan at Target for under $10 and we take it everywhere. It sits perfectly in any cup holder and easy enough for my three year old to squirt water on her face to cool down.

• Cooling Towel – I just recently bought my family a Enduracool Microfiber Towel to have when we are outside. Just splash some cold water on it, snap it and it stays cool for over an hour. It is perfect when my daughter is running around or napping in her stroller. My husband also loves using it when he mows the lawn or anytime he is outside.

• Bathing Suit – You never know where there will be a splash pad or a few fountains that the kiddos can run through to cool down. I have it handy to pull out whenever a fun water opportunity arises. Make sure to bring a towel as well!

• Insulated Travel Bottle – This is my new favorite thing! I use it every day, especially when we are going to be outdoors! It keeps ice water cold for up to 24 hours and my hot tea warm for 12 hours!  I have an h2go Force that I received from my super awesome company Camden! I highly recommend that you get one today!

• Frozen Fruit – We freeze grapes, blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers and pack them in our bag before we leave the house.  When we are ready for a snack, the fruit has thawed and is still nice and chilly. It is a perfect refreshing treat to have in the hot summer!
