FORTUNE magazine continues to celebrate our unique culture and has recognized Camden as a great place to work for the 11th year in a row. What an accomplishment!  On occasion, we all get asked some version of the same question: “What is Camden’s secret sauce?”  We often receive a look of puzzlement, disbelief or even confusion when we answer, “It’s our people.”  

Camden team members, YOU are the “secret sauce”! You care deeply about Camden and our customers and strive to improve the lives of others, one experience at a time. Your professionalism, dedication and commitment are an inspiration. We are a great place to work and have been featured year after year because of you. We recognize Camden wouldn’t be where it is without the contributions made by each and every team member.  For this, we sincerely thank you. 

It's been 11 years, and while some may think we place great value on where we place on the list, what we value most is what the list represents: our united efforts to continue being a great place to work for all. Regardless of Camden’s placement on this or any other list, Camden will continue to be a great place to work because:

  • Camden respects individuality, values inclusivity and understands the importance of diversity.

​We encourage all team members to bring all their talents to work and have experienced the tangible benefits of sharing our talents with each other. For Camden, team members sharing knowledge and best practices is key. This means continuing to value each team member’s unique contributions and proactively soliciting ways we can continue to improve how our organization does business. Our committees like Service Managers Advisory Committee, Management Advisory Committee, and the Innovation Council are just three examples showcasing how Camden fosters inclusivity by seeking diverse perspectives. 

  • Camden inspires pride through impact.

Who we are as a company guides how we give back to the communities in which we live and work. We work as a team, we care for others and we have fun. Our Camden Cares initiative improves the lives of our neighbors across the country. Camden’s volunteer spirit brings communities together and supports our goal to create Living Excellence.

And lastly,

  • Camden is committed to every team member’s development.

Never stop learning is a message we continually reinforce through our words and our actions. As learning at Camden continues to evolve, you will see a renewed focus on individualized learning and development opportunities for all team members.
