We are on a quest to find out what it is that you LOVE about where you live and what makes your Camden community special.  Let’s start by highlighting one of the smallest of the Camden communities here in Charlotte, Camden Simsbury.

This 100-unit community is located in the heart of South Park and is anything but ordinary.  From the newly upgraded apartments and amenities to the quiet, neighborhood feel and prime location, it is no wonder that the residents love it.  One thing that Simsbury offers that I don’t think you will find anywhere else is private gardens on first floor apartments.  It is almost like having your own front yard or your own secret garden. I can tell you all day how unique this community is, but I think it means a lot more coming from the residents who live there.  After a difficult loss in her family and a need for a fresh start, Ms. Kathy moved into Camden Simsbury and has lived here for 5 years.  To this day she could not imagine living anywhere else and says “This is [her] home.”  Her exquisite garden is filled with brightly colored flowers, plants and bird feeders and she loves relaxing while sitting out on her patio watching the birds.  Her garden is her own little slice of heaven.

These gardens add so much charm to the exterior of Camden Simsbury and really give the residents something to call their own.  From someone whose green thumb desperately needs a tune up, walking through Camden Simsbury is such a joy and it is so fun to see how creative residents can be in their gardens. We know that every community has “that something” that keeps residents coming home to Camden year after year.
